READ REFLECT CONNECT

Introducing the 50 Hill Rise Well-being Book Club

A relaxed, guided gathering where our well-being book picks become the foundation for conversation, reflection, and connection.

Hosted by Candy every six weeks each 90-minute session offers gentle discussion, time to reflect, and space to connect with others over a refreshing kombucha spritz.

This clubs pick is: Meditations for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman

“A book about diving into reality and doing more of what counts, here and now. Meditations for Mortals is about stepping into a more meaningful, productive, absorbing and energizing life – not later, but right here in the midst of the overwhelm, the distraction, and the anxiety-inducing news headlines.

Its four weeks of digestible dailyish chapters – reflecting on quotations from philosophy, religion, literature and self-help – outline the practical philosophy of ‘imperfectionism’, offering an action-oriented, profound yet entertaining crash course in thriving as a finite human. ”

Ticket price includes

  • A paperback copy of the book ( pick up from Front of House)
  • A refreshing kombucha spritz & nibbles on the evening.

No need to have finished the book; just sign up, take part and see where the conversation takes us!
