Dr Ezgi Vissing started her career as a movement teacher after finishing her studies at the University of Oxford. She’s really passionate about how staying active can make us feel mentally and physically better, and she loves helping people explore different ways to move and connect with their bodies. Ezgi believes that by improving how we move, we can feel better and more confident in our own skin.
She learned a lot from amazing teachers, like Mike Perry and Anoushka Boone, a well-known Pilates instructor who was trained by the legendary Eve Gentry, a student of Joseph Pilates himself. Under their guidance, Ezgi’s view of Pilates has grown. She now sees it as more than just exercise—it’s a core part of how we move every day. She’s deeply influenced by her mentors and aims to make Anoushka proud through her own teaching.
Ezgi is also a certified personal trainer. She coaches in weight training, strength, and conditioning, adding to her broad range of skills in movement. She doesn’t stop there—she’s also into aerial arts, which includes working with the pole, hoop, and silk, seeing these as beautiful ways to express oneself and connect physically.
Recently, she’s been diving into the science of how the body works, looking at ways to boost athletic performance, reshape our bodies, and understand our mechanics better, all based on the latest science research. Dr Vissing is always learning and loves to share her knowledge with others, whether they’re just starting out or looking to deepen their practice.
