About Isabel

With 25 years of experience as a yoga practitioner and 13 years as a yoga teacher, my background is based mostly on the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga system taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and on Bryan Kest’s Power Yoga. I teach a Dynamic Flow Yoga class focusing on movement of the body in harmony with the breath (Vinyasa krama). My classes are set to music, with variations given to suit all levels. I encourage my students to move with grace and lightness throughout the practice. Students of mixed abilities move through sequences and take progressive higher options in their asanas (postures) as their abilities and needs suit them. A focus on the mind-body connection is given to calm student’s mind and achieve a sense of greater balance and well-being throughout their practice.
