Inversions are playful and empowering—getting upside down can shift your perspective in so many ways. At the same time, they can feel a little intimidating, especially in a regular yoga class where there isn’t always space to go deeper into them.
This workshop is a welcoming space for you to explore inversions at your own pace. Together, we’ll focus on building strong foundations that support you in feeling stable and confident as you take flight. Expect targeted mobility and strength drills to develop control and stability through the shoulders, core, and legs, as well as fun partner work to keep the practice light and encouraging.
We’ll break down headstand, forearm stand, and handstand, with plenty of options, variations, and transitions so you can choose what feels right for your body. You’ll learn how to connect the pieces—discipline, technique, and playfulness—to feel more confident your inversion practice.
This workshop is open to all levels, though some prior yoga experience is recommended.
